Fire Drill at Sineo Packaging Manufacturing: Ensuring Safety and Compliance
At Sineo Packaging Manufacturing, the safety and well-being of our team are paramount. Today, we took an important step towards ensuring workplace safety and compliance with regulations by conducting a fire drill at our facility in Dubai Industrial City. The drill was conducted in collaboration with AW Rostamani GHSE, Firelink, and Berkeley Services.
The last evacuation drill took place in January 2024, coinciding with the launch of our facility. This drill was especially important for us to complete in order to ensure compliance for 2025, particularly for the new team members who have recently joined our mission towards a greener, more sustainable future.
Fire Drill Process: A Clear and Prepared Response
Before the drill, AW Rostamani GHSE provided a comprehensive briefing to our team. The briefing covered the necessary steps to take in the event of an alarm, ensuring that everyone knew what to do. Once the fire alarm went off, our personnel immediately proceeded to the designated assembly point at LV-1, near the security room, as part of our well-established emergency protocol.
Whilst many of our key staff members have received fire marshal training and are certified, it’s especially crucial for our front office personnel to familiarize themselves with the drill to ensure we’re fully compliant with all safety regulations. These drills are not just about meeting legal requirements, they’re about fostering a culture of safety wherein every individual is empowered and prepared to act when necessary.
